PayPal a leading online payment processor try to expand their services into Store. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, PayPal president Scott Thompson called the initiative a “top priority”.

PayPal try to to the business world of Point-Of-Sales payment system, it’s because of cause a few problems for the big credit card companies. More details about this project will be available in annual conference in October 2010.
With annual revenues of around $3 billion 220 million active users, PayPal is trying to remove cards and create a payment gateway that powers the point-of-sale itself.

PayPal assumes that at the end of the checkout process, you will make a final sale and payment transaction via PayPal. PayPal has been doing its bit this week to raise awareness of the growing online.
Very disappointing to date paypal can not be used to transfer money to a local bank or vice versa.
